Between object and abstraction...

Through prismatic glass lens, high-contrasts, grain, and blur, ‘The Shard’ is an attempt to capture several layers at the same time, a kind of dialogue between the perspective of different viewers and participants of the shot.

Difference in perception relates to variety of human interests and motives that guide their daily lives. In this project, photographs take an abstract approach to familiar scenes, contrasting layers of people in the every-day environment, and also a sample of the raw intensity of modern urban life.
